Special Orders is where Lamps From The Attic can really shine a light on things.
Many people have a special item or favorite toy from their childhood, that might even be broken, dented, all scratched up and stored away in the attic. You can't make yourself throw it away, so you just keep it year after year taking up space in the attic, basement or garage. No one really wants to decorate the house with dirty old broken toys, favorite hobby item or family heirloom even though it has tremendous sentimental value. After all, that was Grandpa's volunteer Fire Chief helmet.
But if that special item was re-purposed into a lamp, now it can become a conversation piece in the family room and all of those memories can come back down from the attic and fill the room with love once again.
My goal is not to repair or restore the item of your choice to its original glory, it is only to take what you send, clean it up a little bit, and give it a new place in your home. I do not do restoration work. That old toy truck earned every one of those dents and scratches.
Please click on the "Contact" tab above and use our form or drop me an email with a description of your favorite item and include a few pictures of it from different angles and tell me what you have in mind. I will gladly look it over and get back to you with the possibilities of what we can do for you.
This could be a great idea for special anniversaries, birthdays, retirements, graduations, events or just to treat yourself to a gift.
Note: I DO NOT WORK WITH ANY SORT OF TAXIDERMY OR FUNCTIONAL WEAPONS. So please don't bother asking, you wouldn't be the first to try... (I did, however, make a really great lamp out of an old rifle stock. I would do that again, it was fun to build. I even put the switch inside the trigger guard.)

These lamps went to the firehouse in Butler County, PA!
A young man brought his grandfathers's pieces and Allen made this fantastic lamp for him!
